The bigger issue for many parents isn't the money. It's that in a team-first app, your child's stats live inside the team's account.

Plenty of the time, honestly. If you want live video of games so grandparents can watch from another state, GameChanger does that and MyBallPlayer does not. If your team already has a committed scorekeeper and you mainly want the team's box scores and schedule, the free tier may be all you ever need.
